The painting on the piece depicts the Kalamkari style of painting. This is a Indian style is practiced in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana region of the Indian subcontinent. The painting is nib painted or block printedand filled using natural dyes and pigments. In here, I have used brush and acrylic paints.
