Cup & Saucer (Set of 6)
Offered here is an original hand painted cup and saucer set created with non-toxic ceramic paints and heat cured on a white glossy cup and saucer. It is a set of six. This cup measures approximately 6 cm in height by 10 cm across the widest part and is approximately 12.7 cm across when including the handle. the saucer is 14.6 cm in diameter. This colorful cup is perfect for adding a little pop of color to your day while relaxing with a cold/hot beverage and is an elegant addition to your tea parties. The painting on the mug depicts the Alpona. Alpona is a style of Indian folk painting, practiced in the Bengal region of the Indian subcontinent. This painting is done with fingers using rice paste or flour depicting motifs on ground for auspicious occasions. In here, I have used brush and ceramic paints. Handling and Care
This Porcelain items are hand painted using variety of tools, including fingers, twigs, brushes, nib-pens, and matchsticks and using pebeo ceramic paints and heat cured. While these items are both microwave and dishwasher safe, I don't recommend either. Hand painted items should be handled with care to avoid chipping artwork. Gentle hand-washing with soapy water will help preserve the artwork. Soaking or scrubbing is not recommended as well. Pat dry or allow to air dry.
